Studio Regie (SR) is a boutique studio in Merelbeke, Belgium, set in a 1950’s cinema.
The future of filmmaking is now available in Flanders.
Using the latest setups in virtual production we uplift creativity.
When combining LED screens with camera tracking and virtual production tools, unique and infinite experiences are obtained, with the ability to generate stage changes in real time, control light and color, create immersive environments for actors and users, reduce production times and costs. In recent years, digital projection together with Led Wall screens are being used in the most modern productions to create new virtual sets that replace chromas.
Encouraged by the rapid rise in demand for VP services and high-end content, Studio Regie presents our new permanent, ready-to-shoot LED stage, incorporating custom built high-resolution HDR Led technology, and a ready to shoot lighting setup.
The ledstage consists of:
1 main screen (10,5 meter width – 5 meter height)
1 Dolly screen (5,5 meter width – 3 meter height) or
2 Dolly screens (2,5 meter width – 3 meter height)
Instant integration of live-action and CG environments for informed creative decisions.
EFFICIENT MULTI-LOCATION SHOOTING:
Capture scenes with a top artist in multiple virtual locations within a single day, maximizing productivity and mini- mizing scheduling conflicts
CONSISTENT LIGHTING AND REFLECTIONS:
LED screens provide accurate lighting and reflections for seamless blending.
Reduced resources needed for location scouting, permits, set construction, and post-production.
ENHANCED FLEXIBILITY AND CONTROL:
Real-time adjustments to virtual environments for creative exploration, adjust colors, textures, and lighting in re- al-time, modify 3D assets to fit specific scene requirements
REDUCED RELIANCE ON GREEN SCREENS:
Less need for extensive green screen setups and associated post-production work.
Create any type of environment, from realistic to fantastical, without physical constraints.
DYNAMIC SET EXTENSIONS:
Expand or transform the virtual set during shooting for varied scene compositions.
